This tour takes you deep into the heart of Finland’s lake region. Start your day with a visit to Olavinlinna — a medieval castle on the water with amazing views and a rich history. Walk through the old stone halls, take photos from the towers, and hear stories of knights and kings.
After the castle, you’ll head to the lake for a peaceful boat safari. Lake Saimaa is the largest lake in Finland, and home to one of the world’s rarest animals — the Saimaa ringed seal. With some luck and a good guide, you may spot one sunbathing on the rocks or swimming nearby.
Along the way, enjoy the calm scenery, fresh air, and a truly special experience that mixes nature and culture. It’s a relaxing and unforgettable day trip.
